i don't know about cars with external wastegates, but i have my bov line hooked up to the back of the intake manifold with the rest of the vaccum lines. You need to buy a breather filter for the line of the valve cover or a catch can incase you spit up some oil when your boosting. My BOV looks like it won't close with the hood closed but it does, are you sure that it won't?

I was wondering that myself about the blowoff valve. In the pics shaun took cveds eclipse with the turbo on it the bov is down below the bend that goes down to the turbo on my piping it is on the straight part above the kink and I have the greddy types bov. I havent put it on my car yet as i am missing a lot of shit but it looks like it will not fit.
