#31364, "HRC Stage 1, need help with final parts list..."
I'm about to order the HRC Stage 1 kit... I always forget something stupid when it finally comes down to order time... Everybody please take a look at the list and let me know what I'm forgetting or should have with the Hahn Stage 1 kit..Any imput into brands of any of the things that I put a question after would also be very helpful, Thanks alot -Brian
1) HRC Stage 1 turbo kit 2) GReddy Evolution Catback 3) Turbo Timer (any recommendations on brands? ) 4) Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump(my friend said i should get this is it necessary? ) 5) EGT Gauge 6) A/F Gauge 7) Full Pillar Mount 8) HKS SSBOV?? Which BOV would be best in my setup with just the stage 1.. I'm on a low budget i'm basically just looking for a BOV that will sound nice, not too concerned with performance of it. 9) Turbo Plugs and Wires 10) Do I need Missing link and Vortech SFMU for the Stage 1 kit? This was the main issue that I was confused on.. I know you need it for stage 2 but is it necessary for stage 1? 11) Should I upgrade injectors, or downpipe???? and what size injectors will fit? Thanks for any input you can give me on this list.. it will be greatly appreciated... If you can think of anything that i should be upgrading please list it thanks alot.

The HRC kit should come with everything. A few things that I recommend that you replace the kit with is the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel cut defencer (black box), and the allen manifold bolts that the kit comes with. Upgrade with the Vortech SFMU and get the manifold bolts for a 4G63. You don't really have to get the misssing link, as the black box will suffice (for now), some crap out some don't. Get the missing link if you have the cash though. Also, the HRC kit comes with the boost gauge so no needd to worry about that. Get an accurate A\F gauge from gadgetseller.com and an EGT (your choice) gauge with a probe from Westach. Plugs and wires are always a nice thing to have. As far as injectors, the stock ones are fine so long as you don't go boost crazy (over 8 psi). Team ERT is making a better downpipe for HRC owners but have yet to set a date. With the BOV, the one that came with the kit will be fine, it makes a nice 'whoosing' sound. The Walbro too is a nice thing to get if you have spare cash, if not, stick with the Accel inline pump (comes with kit) and stock in-tank pump. Good Luck!!!!!!
