Just wondering..

The GT cruiser, at 14 psi, gets 215 hp, and 245 lbs torque...

At 10 psi, the 2.4L run, they got 330 lbs torque and 200 something hp..

Just wondering, how did they use the same motor, run less boost, but get more power?

Just wondering.

it's "PT Turbo"

There's lots of possible reasons. In a Neon, i'd go for the 330ft/lbs of torque before i'd go for the 245hp.

It is probably because of the compression ratio of the two cars. Im sure the neon that had 330lb ft of torque was on the stock bottom end of the NA 2.4. The turbo version probably has much lower compression and a smaller turbo thus the power difference.
