Well today I finally finished w/ my turbo install. After putting on my new oil feed line, since the first one was cracked and squirted oil all over my manifold, turbo, & downpipe. Well I started it up, found no leaks. Then after about 30 seconds when I guess the downpipe and things started to heat up I started seeing smoke coming up. There were no leaks. Could this just be the oil that was spilled on the parts burning off.. or might it be something else? I turned the car off immediately since I wasn't sure if it was just the excess oil on the parts, or if it was something else.

thats probably all it is. Just leave yer hood open and look for where the smoke is coming from. My guess is that if you leave it to idle for 10 mins, it'll be gone.

If you got oil on the exaust mani, it will smoke for quite some time. It did on my install, and it freaked me out at first, but its only burning oil, no need to worry..

I got some smoke for a little while on my car after I installed my turbo as well. I wouldn't worry about it.
