Ok I really like the way my muffler sounds and it cost me $110 so I don't want to get rid of it. I do have to get a bigger exhaust though so I can turn the boost up. Is it a waste of time to do 2.5" piping and have it go through a 2.25" muffler? Will it bottleneck it too much? BTW it's just a straight through muffler. TIA

There might not be a bottleneck. Some mufflers actually have a larger baffle tube and a smaller inlet. Look inside and see, you may get by with just having the inlet expanded to 2.5"

its always nice to get sum new muff from time to time... noone will be seeing the inlet, so just open it up a lil and weld your new pipes into it...
