#30633, "Voltage Clamp Question"

Where can I buy a VC-1 or VC-2?

I had mine running off constant power, and well long story short it fried it.
I tried the Missing Link, and my map is getting the voltage under boost. Well i could just reset my computer every weekend and be okay, but I don't want to go thru the hastle.

Thanks guys, again.

-Danny

If your MAP sensor is reading boost with the ML, you don't have it hooked up right, your MAP sensor is reading things wrong, your MAP sensor is in fact not reading boost, and something else is wrong.

I recommend you re-examine your troublepoints and pull your CEL code for us. If the ML isn't working correctly, email Synapse and get another ML. It doesn't really make sense though to me.(it's only a check valve) You might want to try blowing through the ML and seeing if you can get any positive pressure.

I will re-examine my situation, and keep you guys posted. I didn't think there was much to hooking the ML up, just as long as the O-rings stayed on the MAP.

It was only in my car for 2 months.
It is the VC2 adjustable voltage clamp, it is set right now at 4.72 right where you would need it.

They are like 80 new, I will take 60 bucks for it. Neg. I also have a HRC FCD too.
Let me know

I took my missing link off, and when i first tried to blow air thru it, i could, then i kept doing it a few times, partly cause i am an idiot, and partly because i was trying to see what made it work. Well, long story short, after a min or so of doing that, i couldn't blow air thru it anymore. So i put that puppy back in, and it worked fine for TODAY!
