Alright, I finally have everything installed and ready to go, but I was wondering where everyone hooked their vacuum hoses up to? I'm talking about the ones from the wastegate, the bov, & the boost guage.
Also, on the tial 35mm wastegate, am I supposed to leave the hole on the top, and the big opening w/ the flange on the side open without anything on them? I don't have an intercooler, or a boost controller if that makes any difference.
And finally, is it okay to put silicone on the outside of the vacuum hoses where they connect to t-fittings to make a better seal? I havn't done this yet, but noticed a leak on my vortech vacuum hose where I t-fitted it in the back of the car, and the clamps don't seem to tighten tight enough. And what about putting silicone on the outside of the flange that attaches to the oil pan?

Okay for the vac lines, most of us run them off of the intake manifold, either by tapping new holes in it, or using T's off of existinig things coming out of it, i.e. throttle body, or one of the 3 in the back of the manifold. For the wastegate the top hole is for a boost controller. What would happen is you would run the boost controller off of another vac source, and then run it off the top hole. The big flange i think you are refering to is the exhaust where a dump tube goes. I think you will notice if you arn't running a dump tobe back to the exhaust, you will want to do so some time. Hope some of this cleared up some confusion.
