So my friend with a 1g GSX is telling me bout how he got this turbo and rebuilt it using, check this out - RC ball bearings. He hasn't put it on his car yet but he said that it fit pretty good, had to drill out a little bit. This seems like a real good idea if you can find the exact same size bearing. Cuz if you've ever seen bushings they are nothing compared to the absolute smoothness to the ball bearing. I wonder if all BB are created the same..next stage up is to get a set of ceramic ball bearings and rebuiling the turbo with em. What yall think>

i think he's going to destroy it in under 5000 miles. No steel ball bearing will take 120,000RPM at 1500*F temps.. that's why they use ceramic in the first place.
