Ok when I did a compression check I got 195 200 200 200.
I was supposed to have 8.5:1 pistons.
I have the JE sheet that came with them here is what is says.

Well 8:6:1 compression is around 180. So i am guessing you have 8:8:1.

Those are 8.8:1 pistons. Matches my spec sheet line for line.

Thanks man but that kind of pisses me off because when I ordered my bottom end kit from howell, I ordered 8.5:1

Whats going on with this company.

What? Howell sent you the wrong parts? hmm wierd.. (hehe, sorry guys, couldnt resist emoji ) Yeah, 8.8 should be fine for you, maybe even just a tad more power than the 8.5's..thats always good emoji

but dang 9.6:1 is like 215 perfect that's pretty close hehe... damn I have 10.5:1 pistons haha wonder what that's gonna go out to when I get em in I heard 250....
