Is there any way to not have the check engine light go off while running a test pipe. Have a 3" on there now and the light goes on. I was thinking of running the O2 sensor outside of the exhaust path and just plugging the hole. Let me know what you guys with testpipes are doing besides removing the light bulb for the CEL

well get yourself a 1 megaohm 1/4 watt resistor from Radio Shack. Find the black wire of the rear o2 sensor AFTER the cat, cut that black wire, and solder that resistor inline with the black wire. Bam, no CEL, at leat i havent gotten one yet with a fully gutted cat.. This mod came from the Neon forums i believe...
