Hey guys I just called the dealership...they want $154 for each piston! WTF I had heard that they were only like $35 each.....this was from chrystler.

The dealer is always gonna charge more than what the parts are worth... its what they do... rip you off. If you are gonna be replacing pistons, you might as well just go for a nice set of forged ones... If all you want is the stock ones, I would imagine that someone around here has a set of stockers in good shape. After I get time to tear apart my old block, I'd be willing to sell mine to you cheap.

They are that much b/c they sell them as a rod/piston pair.

Ya they don't sell em as just a piston. And it is still cheaper to go through the dealership, the forged pistons are almost $500 NO RODS.
