Got rained out on Fri. night at the local track near Green Bay, so I went down to Byron Dragway in Ill. on Sat. and visited a friend down in Rockford. Just got back about a half hour ago, the results are in. It was a new track for me so it took some getting used to, actually a lot more traction than I am used to at my local track (WIR in Kaukauna,WI) So finally on my 4th pass on Saturday Aug. 24th at 1:41 PM my car made it into the 13's. I ran 13.571 at 108.21mph 60' 2.234 1/8 8.966@87.32, 1000ft 11.469 yeah still damn kuhmos(drag radials on B.O.) Oh yeah my R/T... a .503!!! I guess I got lucky on that one. Unfortunately I lost this race to a guy who ran a 13.157 at 105.10 mph with a 1.935 60'. With a sub 2 60', and a non cracked manifold so I can run 21psi I could possibly go 12's. I was running about 18 psi since I still have the cracked manifold, I don't think my wastgate ever even opened, the crack is my wastegate for now. I made 11 passes in all over the 7 or so hours I was there and on my last pass my clutch started slipping in 3rd at about 80mph and 17 or so psi, not sure if it was just hot or if it's shot, I didn't want to test it until I got home 240 miles away. It had to be at least 85 degrees out, if you were wondering. Datalogged rpm and spark advance. At highest rpm ~7000 advance was 10 deg. Someone tell me how to put a scan into a post. Thanks.
