#29811, "TurboXS BOV no longer RFL"

I have the RFL BOV and for last 4 months it sounded real nice and loud. Well this past weekend I left the car for my dad to drive while I went out and when I came back I notice that the BOV doesn't sound as loud as it used to. Now it sounds just like a rush of air and thats it. If I wanted the rush of air sound I would've gotten the HKS. I want that distinct RFL sound back. Can anyone help?

Check for boost leaks. That'll quiet it down real quick.

Yeah man, check for boost leaks. When I had mine, my 3000GT BOV souded like a 'silent' fart. Check what vac. you are at idling, that's usually a good idea to see if you have a boost leak. Mine was idling at like 5 vac. when I had my leak.

at idle my vac is about 20. I boost fine. Right afte car starts and after the first gear boost, the sound is there. Afer that, it's gone. Sounds just like silent fart. I'm boostin about 6-8psi.
