hey whats up guys. today or tommarow i wanted to get my fuel system out of the way so i can do the turbo install asap. alright well im going to be using a 14b with internal waste gate (10psi), 1g intercooler, 310cc injectors, stock fuel pump, sfmu. i was thinking ok no big deal ill just rig up sfmu, hook a fuel pressure gauge into the test port on the fuel rail, and twist the static screw ontop until i get idle psi to be around 47-50. but im not using stock injectors so its not that simple. i remember reading some post a long while back where you guys were giving your exact numbers from tuning. i know someone else out there was using basically the same setup as me and could tell me what to tune it to, but i cant find the post. if the search function worked in the arcchives i think id never have to ask another question. if you could please help me out id appreciate it. since i wont be hooking up the turbo for another week or so i wont have to worry about the boost side of the tuning game yet. tia
edit: im not sure if my injectors are 310cc or 315cc, they are the accell #30 (for the v-8 mustang), just incase it makes much of a difference.

The #30 are 315cc injectors. But you are going to change some things about that setup. First off, you are going to need a better fuel pump. Get a Walbro 255 in tank pump. They are priced low and simple to install. Second, If you are going to run 315cc injectors, you will need to run a lower fuel presure. I run a Walbro 255 high flow fuel pump with a Vortech S-FMU and 315cc injectors. I set the idle fuel presure to 30psi with the 2.72inch disk in my S-FMU.

thanks guys, that was such a quick reply i almost couldnt believe it. yeah i am going to get a walbro intank and install asap, its just something i hadnt gotten around to buying yet and i figured id be ok with a week or two of running turbo before installing a new pump. and what about before turbo? then would it still be taxing the stock pump hard with these bigger injectors and sfmu evven though im not boosting at all?

No the reason you need to replace it is because when you boost the fuel pressure will rise. The stock pump can't flow much at high pressure that's why you need to upgrade. You'll be fine w/ it until you boost.
