#29281, "How often do you go rich besides WOT?"

Everytime I go rich on my A/f gauge, not at WOT I get all paranoid thinking I'm burning too much gas. At about 1/2 throttle the A/F meter bounces faster and faster toward the green as the revs are increased and the throttle is constant. Then at higher revs it goes rich...that is normal right? Right now I'm running with no FPR. My vortech is getting sent in for repair. I haven't even tried to boost.

I really don't think you get any accurate readings besides at WOT.

I think that is why people modify their A/F guage so that it reads only at WOT.

Your 02 voltage cycles at less than 80% throttle. The only time you'll get an accurate reading is WOT when it sticks to a certain voltage.

So I should disregard the readings no matter if it goes rich or not? So it only comes into play during WOT where the ECU goes closed loop at runs of pre-determined values? So then when it goes into this mode does it also account for all the sensors (coolant, ait, etc.)? THanks.

BTW EvulFlea..that looks like a nice Tilapia..I'm bout to bust out some soy sauce, calimansi and tomatoes and hook it up =)
