the washers that come with the turboxs rfl bov are for running lower boost? so if i am only running 5psi, i should throw in some washers, or what? tia.

You've got it backwards. The washers are for making the spring compress more which in turn takes more boost to open it up. W/ only 5psi you probably won’t need any washers in it. Some cars need more than others to keep the valve closed while boosting.

if you have a hahn kit, you don't need anything. You can use that coupler that attaches to yer 3000gt BOV and it fits on perfectly.

my car was stock when I bought it and I bought a 2g adapter kit from turboxs.com..the adapter kit came with lots of stuff that I needed and a plug to close off my intake because the Type-H RFL vents to atmosphere instead of back into the intake..and oh yeah..i was running stock 12 psi for my GS-T and i hooked it up at a DSM Get Together with about 200 cars in Virginia and when I didn't put any washers in it and rev'd my engine up and released it my car would almost die because the needle would shoot back down to about 400 or 500 rpms..i asked some people what was wrong and they told me to add at least 3 or 4 washers..i believe on the website it says "for cars running 9 boost and higher" but i'm not sure..you can try it..but I put all 6 washers in my bov to keep the seal tight and compression tight and high and stuff..
