I completely agree with Corbin. 850-900 celsius at the end of a pull is about as hot as I'd feel comfortable with. (esp. with stock internals) I'm usually well under that on most pulls. Probably closer to 840-850.
Also, I have a Westach probe and guage. The probe is mounted the same place Corbin's is as well.(#4 runner, 3-4 inches away)

Yeah Greg is talking Celcius here. One thing to keep in mind is that he is running JE pistons and Crower rods which, from what I understand, should allow him more rooom for error than stock internals would. This is a good thread though and I would like to hear what everyone thinks as well.
