I finally got around to installing this yesterday, but my problem is that when I go to turn of my car my turbo timer also turns off. I will countdown when the key is in the accessory position, but once I turn it all the way off it just turns off. I hooked it up with a harness and think I have everything hooked up fine, any input would be great. thanx

Well I just got off the phone with an Apex tech and he informed me that Apex doesn't make a harness for my year only for the 89-94 Eclipse. So my next question is can I use say a Greddy harness for the car.

Okay, first I think you have the power wire from the turbo timer going to something that only gets power when the key is in the ON or ACCESSORY position. You need to find a constant power source so it will stay on when the car is off.
And second, I can't say for SURE that the harness for the Apexi and Greddy are interchangeable. But, I used the harness my friend had for his Blitz turbo timer on my HKS turbo timer. They had the same plug.

I don't know that much about turbo timmers, but I think it would be an easy fix. What it sounds like to me is your power wire needs to be hot all of the time. Right now it looks like your power is hot only when the key is on. So if you know which wire is your power for your timmer just splice it into something that is hot all the time (like your memory wire on your head unit). Just pick any wire that has voltage on it when the key is in the off position. This would be a no money spending fix, but like I said I don't know jack about turbo timmers, just eletronics in general. I have been reading and learning alot from you guys.

Yeah get the harness for the other one they are all the same as far as those go. Plus with the harness you shouldn't have to find a power source you just plug and play. Is this the one with the A/F O2 readings too that's the one I have. Just get tha harness for the 2g turbo car.

Nevermind, I figured it out that I just have to hardwire the turbotimer to the battery to have a constant power source. The apex harness taps into the cigarette lighter for a constant power source,but that isn't constant. If anyone else gets this timer and the apex harness you will have to tap the battery for the constant power source.

I guess that it is a harness for the 1g eclipse since the guy at Apex told me they don't make one for the 2g. When I ordered the timer from NER I told him to give me a harness also. It is the newest timer from Apex with Af,O2,and battery volt. Fixed it with a simple wire to a hot source.
