I have been talking to people and some are not sure about the fuel system on the star kit. They say the hrc fuel system is better....Can anyone (wyatt or anyone with the star) give me some information or some testimonials about the fuel system. I am getting very close to getting the star stage one a and I am trying to learn as much about it as possible!! I plan on getting the stage1, E trim, hks bov, jumptronix af gauge, and i havent decided on what egt and boost gauge to get....thanks all your info is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only go by my expierince and whay others have told me.
Iwhen I was running 10psi I alwasy kept an eye on my EGT. it NEVER got above 820c.
I blew my motor running 20+ psi of boost because my wastegate was shut tight emoji
I know Eric Z' car on the dyno pulled a fuel ratio of 11.5:1 (or c;ose top it) running 10psi and that is considered extremly rich.
The only thing I would recommend changin gis (for the 95, and some 96's) is to get RID of the lame o-ring for the fuel pump. At high boost the fuel pumps kicks itself out and you loose fuel pressure (bad)
This is very easy to fix, all you need to do is take off where the fuel pump seats in the fuel pump assembly and use high pressure fuel line instead.
other than that I would say its works pretty darn good. It uses a simply design, and the install is not bad at all, just time consuming. no cutting, welding, or anything (except the oil return line into the oil pan).
So thats my thoughts on it.
Other than that, when you want to get bigger injectors, turn up the boost you might want to get the Vortech adjustable FMU to fine tune your fuel system.
good luck!

If you have the right tools to tune, The Star Fuel system is fine.....I have the star stage II kit. I currently have RC 440cc injectors which you don't need (yet) emoji I also have the Apexi Super AFC, Vortech Super FMU (fully adjustible), Fuel Pressure gauge, A/F gauge, and an EGT is a must! So if you go with the Super FMU, Super AFC (I suppose is optional but a very good fine tunning device), Fuel Pressure gauge (optional but good to have), A/F gauge (http://www.gadgetseller.com/gauges/), and an EGT and you should be fine....You just need to know what everything should read and how to adjust it. I Love my setup, I just need bigger injectors for more Power and Boost emoji
