Did any of you who are running the 8 injector setup cut off the bosses inside the manifold. It seems to me like this is gonna cause a pretty significant air restriction if i leave it like this...

1998 Eclipse GSX 2.3L Stroker, AEM EMS Converted to Speed Density, FP3065 Turbo, 35psi , and so on...

you're going to want to cut the bosses so that the fit to the manifold, and don't go inside. cut it at the angle of the part of the manifold u're fitting them to if that makes any sence.

I did not cut my bosses at an angle. I also made my bosses as short as possible while still sealing (I cut the ones I sell a little long). This makes the boss protrude into the runner some. I left it because:
It is round and the air will flow around it without too much trouble.
It protects the injector tip from getting covered with airborne. oil/filth
It creates a low pressure zone in side the boss and a turbulent zone right at the boss exit. This promotes good fuel dispersion.
So, do what you want. The car will run either way.

Heh, Corbin definitely knows his stuff.
My injectors are definitely not protruding into the plenum either. Although I would stand by my recommendation to not have the bungs protrude into the manifold, I would also recommend not having the injectors protrude either.
In my own mind, (as is on my own setup) have the bungs long enough where you can have the injectors sit wholly inside the bungs(for that non-turbulent pulsing area), while at the same time not having the injectors nor the bungs protrude into the plenum.
But I'm sure whatever setup you fashion will be fine. I really think to probably a large extent we're over analyzing all of this.
