ohhh yeah! i just got my car back i just got my car back!!! (je's, eagles, 310's, 8:1) ...a couple of quick questions
- the car hesitates a little bit...not really a jerking but more of a wanting to pull and then a wanting to release a little tension...jerk is to hard a work...it is just being a little iffy...as it has only been 70 miles i expect for the motor ot be a little iffy...the car is also running really rich, so i'm just wondering if the computer is figuring out what to do or if i should check something...again, just confirming
- when i put in the fuel pump a while ago i remember it being very loud...i can't hear it anymore...is this normal?
- this question has been on my mind for a really really long time...someone has just posted- in their post they said that in 5th gear, it takes them 10 seconds to make boost...when i'm in fifth and i floor it (lower speeds) my boost guage shows boost, but my fuel guage doesn't increase pressure, and it doesn't feel like my car is boosting, and the turbo doesn't sound as if it were spooled- is this normal? should i check something? naturally i let off the throttle immediately and try to make sure it never happens again...figured now was the appropriate moment to ask
- do any of you have vacuum lines coming off the BOV...if so- where does it route to?
- my injectors should be alright for 12 lbs of boost with an afc yes?- and at 10lbs it is possible to lean it out some yes?
those are all my questions...for now thanks for putting up with me
in closing... though i can say that i have definitely noticed a decrease in power, i am in love with the new sound of the car...sounds a little more throaty- not just pure exhaust note, but like it has some bite to it

dont boost right now.. dont go past 3-4000rpm for the 1st 500miles.. then change ur oil etc often... from your bov there sound be a vacuum line going to your intake manifold or a T connected to the manifold somehow..take it easy ..

You may want to try the smaller 2.72" disk if you have a Vortech S-FMU with 315cc injectors. You may also want to take your boost source strait from the turbo. This way the FMU dose not see much vacume. It should react better when boost builds. I had the same problem. And like the guys said, don't boost to much yet. Let the engine break in.
