Ok I am putting in my pistons and rings tonight...do the rings need to be turned a certian way??? My chiltons book does not specify this...

for every piston, the gap in the rings should be on opposite sides of each other. i.e. if the top ring faces rear of engine, the next layer ring should face the front, and next faces rear etc.
