Last saturday at the track, I ran a little faster (see sig) and then had more problems. Car wouldn't pull cleanly, etc. On the drive home, the car overheated - twice (stuck thermostat, I think), finally settled down enough to do a pull to 20psi on my road. Sunday the car ran like shit - couldn't drive it. Today I found a cracked vacuum tee, split open vacuum resevoir for the cruise (can you say BIG boost leak?), and when I pulled the plug out of cyl. number 3 it had half of the side electrode gone and NO insulator around the center electrode. So what did I do??? Put in another set of plugs and took it for a drive of course! It still breaks 'em loose at the top of 2nd so it wouldn't appear I hurt anything (how??) Compression test tomorrow, then I'll be back out boosting again.

(In a AA meeting type of way) My name is Dave and I too am a boost junkie. I know what ya mean Greg!!! I have been running 13-15 psi for 2 days and I love it. My tires break loose at the top of second too. I just need to get them damn thing tuned and I am off the the track to get some low 13's.

I guess I am one, too;) Greg, I thought I was the only person that goes through roller coaster rides with their car. One day it runs awesome, the next, like crap. Sometimes the fun is the maintenance; and sometimes, the every up keep gets to be too much.

Same here...
I work on MY car on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and it's almost habit to be working on it. It's like the car knows it's going to be worked on those days and decides to through a fit the day before just so I have something to fix or update.
One funny little thing to do is take off the boost controller and drive around w/ just the stage 1 actuator set at 5psi. I get a whopping 3.5-4psi w/ the 2.5" IC piping and the FMIC. All you say to yourself is "this sucks my car is slow". I can remember thinking my car was all fast a 5psi. Boost is good, boost is real good!

I think my boost addiction has lead my car to its destruction haha I just did a compression test today and got 145 130 130 140 bwahaha thats mega low compression. I notice my car has mega lag and some days its fast and somedays its slow.

I love boost. Too bad I'm so lazy. I need to put my injectors in so I can start running 16psi. In the mean time, when I'm feeling spunky, I just put in a little 110 octane race gas and bring the boost up to 13psi or so
