I have a Star Stage 1 kit in my 96 Eclipse RS and have been running 5lb boost with a 7 lb spring for over half a year now but one day I started noticing a difference in the performance of my vehicle. I notice that I was hitting 6 to 7 psi and my engine temperature would also go up past half way if I were to push the car. I'm not sure what's wrong but think it could be the Wastegate that is seizing up or so. I decided to adjust the adjustment screw from the Wastegate 1/4 turn down and 1/4 turn up but that didn't solve nothing. I would sometimes get boost spike as well. I checked the vacuum hoses but they seem fine so all I'm asking is HELP!! Thank you anyone

The reason for you boosting more is probably that your westgate is sticking or not getting a propper "boost"reading. can you hear it open?
