OKay I want to change out my .63 A/R Turbine housing to a .48 A/R. This one guy wants to trade. Thing is - what is the deal with the WasteGate thing. Do I get a turbine housing of a external T3? Does anyone have pics of both housings? Help me out here please

Almost all turbos have an internal wastegate port. The one that comes with the star kit does, but the flange for the down pipe covers the hole. The turbine housing will work the same for you because the hole will be covered up, just like it is now. If the one you get DOES have an internal wastegate mechanism, the person you're trading will need that stuff for the housing you have now. Also, if it has an internal wastegate now, there will also be a hole in the housing where the actuator arm protrudes into the housing. I am not sure what you should do about that. i guess you could just have someone weld the hole closed, no big deal.
