what is the best turbo to upgrade to. i dont wanna spend more than 1000. i have also never installed a turbo so which one is easiest to install for a beginner but will still give me significant increase.

my car is bone stock except cone air filter and bov, still have stock exhaust. can i still do turbo before other mods?

go with a RED.. Then you'll also need s-afc, injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, intake, BOV, upper/lower intercooler pipes, new FMIC. Its kinda like buying a turbo kit. Thats the extreme though. You can get a 16g and it will be pretty fast too.

Yeah, but you cant get a red for a grand and when you actually try to order it the guys selling it have talked some people out of it. It costs more and they make more off of it, but that is a big turbo and you need to consider the trade offs it creates. One of the guys in my club is going with an AGP turbo. Its the same size as a green but costs less. If you want more info on it I can ask him tomorrow when we go to the track

That's why I suggested the T28.

I would get a 16g over the t28. The t28 isnt much better than the t-toosmall-25.

For 1000 get a 16G, a muffler, custom 3" piping turbo back and a cheap boost controller. Thats what Id do if I had a GS-T. Good Luck

I think I will have to agree with DualGen, if you get the green or red or AGP turbos you will have to upgrade a lot more than what your ready for. And since you dont even have a 3" catback I say dont go big with a turbo just yet.

A BB T-28 that has been ported will outflow and spool MUCH faster than a S16G. And it is a DIRECT bolt on. No peeps would be able to tell that your better than stock and most s16g's.

Ya right. The FP Big T28 smokes the 16g. It spools much faster and flows some more cfm's. It looks stock too, no one will ever suspect that you've upgraded. Check out www.forcedperformance.net. They will even give you money back when you send them your old T25.
