yes. the IC pipe goes through a tank or series of tanks of water/ice water. much more efficient than an air to air intercooler, but water only stays cold for so long. It is ideal for short bursts at the track. It will work for extended periods of time if there is some sort of automated cooling device that keeps the water cold though.

Alot of people use them on the track. Spraco sells a few to my knowalge, as for daily driving i don't know it it's worth it. It's up to you. plus they are a lot bigger might have to do some cutting. I thought about doing it myself, but i don't race that much with my eclipse to justify buying one. we just bring ice bags to the track.

Can't you do this..
Have the a/c cool a tank of water...
And have a pump, to pump the water out of the tank to the IC?
Just an idea..
