Well my EGT's once I have car warmed up are around 10,000at idle which is really high compared to my friends supercharged MX-3 which is at 8000 and all my other friends turbo and sueprcharged cars. Any reasons my EGT's are so high at idle? They never get near 16 when I hit it cause its running rich. TIA -Dave

Boy i sure hope you mean 1000, not 10,000! My car idles around 900,with about 50 psi of fuel on stock injects, sfmu. What is your fuel setup? Maybe you are running to lean at idle, causing high egt's.

Yeah dave mess with the idle setting on the Afc. Do you have a fuel pressure guage? You should be around 47-50 psi of fuel at idle. I don't have an afc nor have I used one but I would richen it out at idle.

I dont have a fuel pressure gauge. My fuel curve seems normal and goes down slowly each 1000rpm's. Pretty sure at idle Im at 13% lean on AFC and I tuned car to be around 1% richer as my rpm's go up. Dont see how its possible for me to be soooo lean at idle but so rich at higher rpms. Blah -Dave
