Well guys, at 99K, I drove this thing HARD..so I think it lasted well, I finally did it in.
One of my cylenders is at 60psi. I am ordering the re ring kit from howell, and getting a valve job done here localy.

So the howell kit is like $200, the valve job (3 angle, whatever that means) is $140, and a new head gasket is like $100. So here I go again spending money I don't really want to...

O yea my dad has a full shop so I am going to do the work my self. He says he will direct me but won't help. (he has rebuilt more engines than I can count, from subaru to his 396 SS el camino). Hope I can get this done in the next couple of weeks.

You might have a cracked ring landing. You wont know untill its pulled apart. If so its going to be another $1100 for the rebuild kit. If your lucky its just the headgasket but you never know.

If you are going to have the engine apart that fare just do the whole thing. Rebuild the bottom end and intercool that bitch. Then pump up the boost.

Yes I will(and of course you all will have first grabs). It willprobly go for around a grand. COMPLETE minus walbro fuel pump. And the gaskets of course.

Within the next year for sure, perhaps sooner depending on what I can afford, insurance wise that is.
