#27757, "Clattering noise when I start the car?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
Well it just started yesterday and I thought that it would go away but it did it again today. When I push in the clutch and start the car, when the engine turns over and I still have the clutch pushed in I hear a sort of real fast CLING CLING CLING CLING. Sounds like as if you were to take a thin peice of metal and stick it in a fan. Then after like a 1-2 seconds it will go away, So I was starting the car, turning it off, starting the car, and turning it off and it would not make the noise everytime.
A guy at work said it could be a throw out bearing..... BUT I just had the Clutch Masters stage 4 put in when I had my engine out for the rebuild about 4K miles ago.
What could it be and what do I need to do??

thats what my car sounded like when it had the spun bearing, but at the same time it also made the noise at higher rpm's (4g and above) if its only making the noise at startup then maybe (hopefully) that is not what it is.

Sounds like it might be something with your clutch maybe, not sure though. I know when my TO bearing wasn;t in right it would do something like that with the clutch out, but not when it was in....
