I'm planning on getting one of two things 1)30lb injectors w/8:1 disk($175) 2) .48 trim turbine housing.($200) I don't plan to boost over 8lbs. Will the injectors give power even at low boost or are injectors only needed when boosting hi?? PLease help me out guys thanks

The injectors are only needed if your exceeding your fuel system capabilities, the smaller wheel will reduce turbo lag, if your only going to 8psi dont worry about the injectors, IMO

If you have no intention of boosting > 8psi then get the smaller compressor trim. Stock injectors should also be fine if you're fuel system is tuned properly. The smaller trim will help a little with turbo lag.

Hmmm. I'm gonna say injectors, cuz I blew at 5psi on the stock injectors. YES, I had other problems (FPR), but they were all related to running way too lean. I'm convinced if I had 30lb injectors all along , I wouldn't be spending $2000+ and 3 months downtime now.
Injectors are insurance. Compressor is convienience.

dan, remember you always drove your car like a mad man }> also you are right the hrc fpr sucks ass, but the stock injectors will be good for 5-6psi of boost if they are working like they should. getting bigger injectors requires some tuning, if its not about right your car will be a bit slower due to running to rich.. hey dan, whens the install dude?

I did NOT! hehehe
Anyways, I got the wrong rings from Howell (.020 oversize pistons, standard bore rings) so they're in the mail. Engine should be built within hours of them arriving... I'm gonna be out this weekend tho. I'll let you know tho, thanks!
