#27345, "No cruise control with turbo??"

This has been bothering me for a while.....ever since I installed my turbo kit, my cruise control hasn't worked. When I press the 'on' button, it lights up, and when I click 'set' I get the green light on my dash that says 'cruise', but it won't set the speed. I tried making my cruise accelerate too but that doesn't work either.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

More than likely the vacuum hose that connects to the cruise box underneath the intake manifold came off during the boost gauge, BOV of FMU install. Its hard as hell to see but you can see/reach it from underneath the car. If not there check the vacuum lines at the actual cruise control mechanism itself on the drivers side of the firewall.

Yep, most likely one of the hoses that either go to the vac. box or come from it. If it's another part let me know, I have all my cruise control parts in a box (I don't need them) and they are just taking up space.

Great! Thanks guys! I'm guessing it's the vacuum line that comes off the cruise control. I don't remember hooking up any vacuum line to that box when I put my engine in last weekend. emoji Exactly where do those 2 vacuum lines go anyway?

If it turns out to be another part, I'll be sure to let you know! Thanks again!

If you have or can run by pep boys ect there's a good pic in the Chiltons manual (page 6-16). One goes from the speed control assembly to the reservior (black box under the manifold I was trying to describe. The other goes to a port on the thingy on the passenger side firewall (they call it the Intermediate link in the manual and I think I called it "cruise control mechanism" in my 1rst post).
