#27323, "Am I doomed for 5 psi forever?!?!???!"

Ok, finally got the TurboXS MBC in today, the IC set in last week, and i go to put it on. Installation was easy, no problems. made a few test passes to get the boost adjusted right, and everything's fine. 8 psi. I hit my target. Made one run, then turned around to do it again, and i got 5. To this point, countless runs later i can't get past 5psi. Nothing I do seems to get me past it. What the hell went wrong? I'm kinda fed up with it all. I've turned the boost controller up quite a ways, to no avail. If any of you have been listening to my past stories, i've had problesm with boost. Before i had the IC, i was getting too much. 10-11 lbs. The IC seemed to solve all of my problems, i got the normal 3-4 psi i should have been getting after i put it on. Now, with the MBC on, i'm getting 5 straight-up, regardless of what i do. Any suggestions?

sounds like a leak in the IC piping somewhere. Tighten all the clamps again and do the little pressure tester thing that Dave_FL I believe posted a little earlier. For 3 dollars, the thing is priceless.

Shit is all apart. Typical...

Be sure the boost controller is hooked up properly. Its is important which vac line goes to the wastegate, and which goes to the turbo, just check out your manual for the boost controller. I installed mine backwards origianally, and it spiked wayyy to high, but i would still check to be sure. sounds like a boost leak also..check your piping and couplers. Also check every single vacum line you can find, to make sure its not cracked or broken, or that one has come off somewhere..very important.

I'll go over everything one more time to make sure nothing's changed. The vacuum line that goes onto my wastegate actuator is extremely tiny, the hose that they supply was almost too big to fit but i think i got it pretty secured the first time. Let me go over it again, i'll get back to you guys.
