#27152, "#30 injectors ok on stock car?"

hi guys, i was just wondering what would happen if i put in my #30 accell injectors right now. i am just bored and im installing the sfmu this weekend when my friend comes over with a spare fuel pressure gauge he is giving me. would the computer adjust itself to the #30 injectors and continue deiliering correct fuel or would it be over kill without having the tuning of the sfmu until this weekend? i dont want to roll around even more rich than our cars already are in stock form haha tia.

Then why are you putting in bigger injectors and an fpr? Are you turbo'd or on the juice? Bigger injectors and an fpr are a waste of time and money on a stock nt. Just my opinion, of course.

WHAT? oh sorry, ive been talking about going turbo and acquiring parts for quite awhile but forgot to specify for this post. i am just making the project into a couple stages. i want to get the fuel system completed this weekend, so one less headache will be out of the way, then i will just rig up the turbo system a week or two after that. it is perfectly ok to rig up the sfmu before turbo.

Install them both and set the static pressure to ~42psi.

Wish me luck...today i'm installing the 30lb. mustang injectors that are coming in. I've been driving around with all of my boost problems fixed, at 8psi the past few days to test teh durability of my pipes and it's all looking pretty decent. I need to clarify that STATIC psi is with the vacuum line disconnected, right? So, I can set my static to 40-42psi with the 30lbs and run 11psi this weekend and hope to god my car doesn't blow up?

Once again, sorry if you guys find me posting questions into other people's relevant posts, i just dont' feel the need to start even more subjects.

Yes static is w/ the vac line unhooked. As long as you have the fuel you won't blow it up at 11 psi.

What are the limits on Hahn's piece of shit FPR??? Could I push 12-13 (even though I won't, due to the fact my piping would blow off). AND is 40 the right psi for me?

I'm getting ready to do the math on Corbin's site right now.

--alirghty. Fuel injectors are installed and operating correctly, took me about 2 hours. That's probably about normal, i was kinda stumped to begin with but quickyl got it taken care of. Got the usual grunting and sputtering of the engine when i first started it up, got the pressure down and things evened out. however, i can't get my static to go under 42psi, so i just left it at that. Idle pressure is about 30-32, and it idles fine. I can smell the richness. I guess i'll go ahead and crank up the boost and make a few runs at 10-11psi and see how everything works out. As long as nobody objects emoji

Got the boost defined and went to the car show/races today and ran a pretty consistent 11-12lbs. of boost. Everything went pretty well for the most part, aside from the billowing black smoke at all RPMs. Oh well, guess i can't do anything about that until I get an AFC. Best time was a 14.4@99mph, at 103 degrees and a 30 mph crosswind.
