I put a new headgasket on (low cash funds plenty of credit left)and cranked it up car run like crap did a comp test and still only had like 80 & 70 in the two inner cyl.I'm left with only a couple of choices 1.Try and send the car to aution(-turbokit)2.buy a engine from a local junkyard($800 no core charge)3.Have a mechanic (father of friend = no screw) find a runing ($500 no warnty)or not so runnig($100 block still good rings prob bad)and build it ether stock or forged depending on credit left. Anyways I feel like just driving off a cliff with the car if it could make it to one.Any ideas or suggestions

You should have just changed the rings also while you had it all apart. Now I would just take it apart again and change the rings, but it could also be valves etc.. you should do the test "wet" to see if the numbers go up then you can pinpoint if its the rings or not

I sent the head off to the machne shop and they fond Nothing wrong w/ the head (I was wishing it was the headgasket).Is there anyway to replace the rings with out pulling the head?

Yes, there is a way. Would I recommend it, nope. If you are really attatched to the car, then spend the dough and have it rebuilt w/ forged internals. If there is a slight doubt, but probably keep the car awhile, find a running engine (or cheaper find stock internals) and get it going. If you are just wanting somebody to tell you to get rid of it, up your insurance policy and drive it off the cliff.
