First which one do you think is better? and perhaps more importantly will they both fit the same flange?

I have the older style Blitz Supersound BOV. It sounds great, but I get some compressor surge even with the spring at it's lowest setting. I took the spring out and cut it down, but I'm in the process of breaking in my new engine before I can find out if that got rid of the compressor surge.

Does anyone else have problems with compressor surge with their BOV's?

well I have the blitz SS now and I don't think I have a problem with surge. What are the symptoms? Like when you let off the gass it doesn't fall back into vacume quickly?

It does fall back to vacuum fast, but it doesn't give one single WHOOSH sound. It flutters. Under full boost it flutters once or twice, then releases. But under partial boost it just flutters. I figured the spring was just too strong so I cut one coil out.

I wonder if my elevation has anything to do with it?? ~6000ft.
