Ok I had the mechanic pinch the fuel return line and it had no change in fuel pressure. I am starting to think it may be the stock fuel pump having a problem. He also told me when he test drove it with the old cartech fpr the car ran super rich and blew thick black smoke out of the exhaust. Then the car lost all its power and finally died. The plugs where fouled out and the engine was flooded, this is what cuased the car to die. He sandblasted the plugs to clean them and the car hasn't ran after that. What kind of things can I have him check for to see if the stock pump is working. What do you guys think, could it be the stock pump, I have 60,000 miles on the car?

Hmm..to me it just sounds like you fuel pump isnt making much pressure. If you would pinch the return fuel line, your pressure should go wayyy up, as the FPR isn't bleeding off any fuel pressure back to the tank. Be sure both the stock pump and the inline pump are turning on. Also, did you do the fuel pump re-wire mod? You need to run a power wire from the battery to power up your inline pump, as the stock wiring isn't big enough for the amp draw of the inline pump. To me it just sounds like one of your pumps aren't making any pressure..my guess is the inline, not the stocker, as the inline is what is making all your pressure anyway.

First of all I am really appreciating all your help man. Ok I know the inline pump is coming on because the mechanic says it makes a lot of noise. What is the fuel pump rewire mod? Can I find it in the mods section? He didn't touch any of the fuel stuff untill it all went bad and it was working fine before the rebuild. I thought that the stock pump made all the fuel pressure untill boost, and then the inline pump would pull out what ever extra fuel was needed.

Ok I found out that my power wire from my inline pump actually goes to my amps main power wire. This is a very thick wire so it should be getting pleny of juice.

Well from what i can take a guess at, is the stock pump is only used to get fuel to the inline pump. The inline pump will make lots of pressure, but pressure is controlled by the fuel pressure regulator. All the FPR is supposed to do is when under vacum, it bleeds off lots of pressure back through the return line, to the tank, to keep fuel pressure at stock levels. Then, when under boost, the FPR will close off return fuel pressure, and that will keep the pressure in the fuel rail higher under boost, when its needed. Damn, i wish i could actaully be there and look at, this is buggin me as much as you emoji Just keep your head up, you'll get it emoji
