Ok guys...I don't really trust the exhaust shop to do my beads, should I just use JB WELD??? Sugestions.....

Welding the beads on is not really the best way to. It is however the easiest. When i refer to a bead it is actually a rolled bead. It isnt a hard machine to find your local chassis shop will have one. The shops usually use them to make designs in sheet aluminum( inner door panels). Well if all else fails and you cant find one just have some one lay down some rod. Usually about 3 spot dots on each outer side of the pipes. Jb weld probably wont hold up. late mike

I found out this technique on RRE. Get some epoxy (you know the stuff that comes in two bottles resin and hardener) and mix it up. Then put two pieces of tape around the pipe you wanna bead and then put the epoxy in between the tape, don't worry about getting it on the tape. Then when your done putting it on take the tape off and let the epoxy dry then that's it you got a bead. THat's how I did my pipes. oh yeah make sure you clean teh area you putting the bead on first like sand it or something.

Who sez FF can't drift?

I checked with the local machine shop to see if they can "bead" pipes,..that was a waste of my time. He did offer to weld some lines around the pipes, but yet again I don't really trust them to make smooth beads. I will try the epoxy way....wish me luck...turbo goes on this weekend, and downpipe is to be made on Tuesday.
