hey guys anyone here has done intercooler fromt mount, what have you guys used. Did you guys take it to the muffler shop and got it custom made or did you guys do it your self and if so with what piping


Another thing what is the proper size piping for intercooler 2.5 is that good and if so how many psi drop is it if there is any??

All of the kits out there come with the the option of a front mount intercooler.
Another popular option is to get a Starion IC (fairly cheap from a junk yard) and modify it to fit our car and get some pipping made.
The diameter of the pipe for the IC will pretty much depend on the diameter of the openings on the IC (unless you use some kind of adapter).
As for the drop in PSI it depends on what IC you have, some are more inefficient than others.

If you are not running extreme boost levels(16psi+), then 2.5" piping may be a bit too big. You will need the velocity of a 2 1/4" pipe...

It will still work, but your going to have more of a pressure loss through your piping, and it may take you longer to see boost. With the bigger piping, it's that much more area for your turbo to pressurize.

Can someone give me the bends,pipes, sockets, EVRYTHING i will need for the starion intercooler? I will be running 12psi
