#26685, "deciding on a turbo?"

i have narrowed it down to two either the NER or the Hahn stage II turbo. However i had a few questions first the Hahn say the max hp is 275hp at nine psi is that at the wheels or what? second has anyone installed at NER turbo kit and if so was it simple to do compared to the Hahn? last if there is any other info that would be to my advantage please tell me thanx emoji

Im pretty sure the Hahn Stage 2, which comes with the Super16G Turbo is capable to upwards of 400, and good for almost 23psi.

simple get a hrc turbo.. no one has tried a ner kit even thow everyone wants one so bad for some odd reason... the s16g turbo is good to 20psi+ but that's with a built engine.. 9psi is at the fly of 275hp... that should be your max psi on stock internals if your not built...

I agree I have star kit and I like it I had to make fit my needs, but Thats true for any turbo. I don't know anyone with a NER kit and everydose want one. I guess to be the first mabe it's the manifold. I would say since it seems your a little inexperence with turbos i say go with han, they have good costomer service and there suff is race proven. ner is not. as for star i love it but I had help with my set up from people on the board and my sponcer, as well as my team and my pops. If i had to do it again i might have gone with han. but itt's your choice. I 'd say think about worst case cenerio. if your engine gose your turbo craps out on you what ya going do.

Also do some research too call up han, ner and wyatt(star) and tell them what u want to do and your goals for your car, and work ur way to that. If your going to do it do it right.
