Hey im having a problem. I was driving my car today when all of a sudden it wouldnt boost. It doesnt whistle like i blew off an ic pipe or anything, and i couldnt find any boost leaks. i get like half a pound of boost. any ideas? i have a star kit with starion ic.

I had the same problem not too long ago, and turned out it was my wastegate stuck open, not letting any boost build up.It was my wastegate actuator rod that poped off, but, Since you have the external wastegate, unlike me, i'm not going to be of much more help, but check out your wastegate and all its parts, to be sure nothing came loose or off, ect..

If my wastegate is in fact stuck open, what do i have to do to fix it on the star kit?

Where is the wastegasket located? Like lately I noticed my blow off valve not blowing off..well making the loud noise that it's suppose to..and I checked the nuts and bolts..everything looks fine..anyone know what might be wrong? Thanks

On a GS-T it's located ON your turbo. When you look at your turbo you'll see an arm connected to a cylinder. that arm should move freely.

BTW-don't touch a turbo when the engine is hot. I'm not trying to make you feel stupid but hey some people still scare me.

As for your BOV make sure all the vacume lines running to it are not kinked, cloged or leaking.

I have an external wastegate. Anybody with the star kit ever had their wastegate stuck open? If so can you give me some help with fixing it?
