#26508, "Why can we use 'other' injectors?"

Are all injectors universal?...So can I use 30lb (310cc) injectors of any car and it'll still work? My fren with a LS DRAG was talking bout getting some 310cc also and was talking bout getting SATURATED over PEAK & HOLD cuz something bout a resistor box was needed for the second one. Please help me out with a lil info on em...I'm planning on getting some 30lbs and getting a 8:1 disk soon
.thanks

Yo Alvin,
We need High impedence injectors for our car, these are also known as saturated injectors. they need to be able to replace a Bosch style injector. i think the most economical way is to get some ford racing injectors. I got 8 off of ebay for like 180 bucks. and sold the other four. if you are going to use other brand injectors just make sure that they are compatible with bosch style injectors. the 440's i got from RC engineering are Lucas brand injectors, but they have some slight modifications that make them fit in our application.
Hope this helps
Lates

damnnn so i guess if no one is sure i should not buy them, now wich are the compatible ones that are bolt on ???

Actually wich are the best to put on our cars aftermarket ones ???
If mustang are PnP on our cars then any aftermarket mustan injectors will work on our cars that is saturated right
