but is the gasket the connects the downpipe to the turbo a special one? or can i go to any autoparts store and ask for a certain part #

Don't know if you can get it at a parts store or not, but I think hrc sells them for less than $10.

An embossed copper header collector gasket will work (3 bolt, 2.5" diam). Thats what I use. they cost like $7.
