8psi is the "limit" I'm sure sombody here is probally proving me wrong as we speak but 8psi is the recomended celing on a star kit without injectors

*deep breaths*

I don't know why I even replied to this, but I will try to answer this question, although its the same question you have already asked 50 million times before.

8 psi is the limit on stock injectors. I could not run 8 psi, I could only run 5. But that is because I am having fuel issues in my car.

So there you go, now we have answered this question.... again. Please refrain from wasting our time and our webspace again.

That was a dickheaded thing to say. Shit, I was told that stock injectors would be ok at 10 psi by Shaun over at NER.

Shaun told you stock injectors were good to 10psi? I'd like to see some info supporting that statement! I'm not saying he is wrong but I'd like to find out how u can do that without going boom.

Well take my car for example. Maybe this will give some more insight as to why i also think stock injects cant go over 8 psi safely. My car is at about 7 psi of boost on the Hahn kit. My FPR is screwed and running to rich, giving me about 120+ psi of fuel pressure at 7 psi of boost. HRC recomends about no more than 110 psi of fuel pressure for 8 pounds of boost. So you say, well i'm running too rich at 7 psi of boost with 120+ psi of fuel pressure? Right? Well here is this. At 7 boost and 120 psi of fuel, my A/F is about right on, NOT RICH!! I should be pretty rich with that kind of fuel pressures, but nope. Sometimes my boost will spike a little to 8 or 8.5 psi, and i dont feel the car move any more faster, it stays the same pull wise, but i hear and see the boost go up. Well you say i should have plenty of fuel with 120 psi at 8 psi of boost, but no more power is being made than at 7 psi..Interesting, isn't it? I feel, as some others do, that our STOCK injectors max out at around 110 psi of fuel pressure. I'm not talking about how much boost it maxes out at, but fuel pressure, as that is what is key here, not boost. Until i can get larger injects, i'm keeping my boost around 7 psi, maybe 8, but def no higher. I'd be willing to place a big bet that any higher than 8 psi of boost(110 fuel pressure) you will blow a motor due to fuel starvation. IMO, our stock engines are good up to 10 psi of boost(Hahn kit), BUT with proper fuel delivery.

Hey talonized, i'm really curious to what set up you are running, as i know 10 psi on stock internals is safe. What turbo setup are you using? What fuel system, injectors, ect..maybe this will either support my theory, or shoot it down, depending on your fuel set up that is emoji

I don't have a fuel set-up. Just everything that came with the star stage 2. Stock injectors also.

I can run 10 psi on stock injectors too. If I leave the damn car ion the garage most of the time. If you dont drive it much it wil last a long timew at 10psi. But if you drive it every day at 10 psi it will blow up quick.

well what kinda racing we talking about? If it like road racing i suggest you don't for drag I suppose it's ok but don't do it too much and put some octane booster. Make sure you EGTs are fine and AF ratio is good.

Those octane boosters arent worth the chas. Go to a paint shop and pick up some xylene. I thinks thats wahts it called. Put about a gallon in you tank and that takes it from 93 to 99-101 emoji

I do it now.. my friend with a 89 GTA got me to do it! I love it..
