Well I finally go t500 mile son the car today. I was boosting 6psi. It feels good to use the turbo again. I have a problem though. Can off timing affect the EGT's? I was noticing that the EGT's were about 150-200 degrees hotter than normal. I thought the EGT's would be lower with the low compression. I have plenty of fuel. I am running 90 psi of fuel at 6 psi for now untill I get the timing situation fixed on tuesday.

Go get it dyno tuned!!
I was boosting 7 psi, and had it tuned, and while on the dyno I was very lean at 7 psi. BUT I had plenty of fuel pressure. My injectors were maxed out.....I wasn't sure about getting dyno tuned, I didn't think it needed it but I am glad I listened to Armond and had it done because I was running lean that whole time.

Damn Dave your up to 500 miles already didn't you just get back? That sucks I hope your not maxing out your injectors at only 6psi that would suck. You were right it took the mechanic longer than he thought to finish my rebuild. I realy fu^ked it up good at 9psi.}> I go and get the car tomarrow afternoon. I want to put the 1500 miles on it in about 5 days. Got to go racing on Satuday it is import only day at the track. Why don't you put in your 440's now and lean it out with s-afc then you shouldn't be lean right? Hope things work out.

well if you gears are not align it could cause a higher egt as far as i know.. its sorta like have cam gears depending which way its set.. my idle was mess up and my egt was a bit off also... this happen to me but as far as facts go from the pros wait for them to tell u... this is from my own experience... but what kind of a/f reading are you getting at 6psi? it's true u can have enough fuel 90psi at 6psi but if your timing is off you could mess up ur engine again...

I dont think my injectors are maxed out because I used to run 8 psi on them with no problems. After tomorrow I hope everything gets back to normal with the whole wiming situation. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
