i was reading through the turbonetics manual and it said something about not having a gasket in between the wastegate and the turbo manifold...is there supposed to be, because my car sounds like ass and i dont think the wastegate is functioning properly? any ideas...tia.

I have a gasket on both side. It suppose to be included on your star kit...

does it sound like ur wastwgate is always open, cuz mine is a constant sputter. its sounds horrible and i dont think the car is running at full potential. PLEEEEEEEEASE someone help. tia.

Your looking at an exhaust leak somewhere. Just look around and see where it is, also, if you arn't running a gasket, just make sure all the bolts holding your wastegate down to your manifold are tight. exhaust leaks suck and they sound awful.

If you want you can take your car to a muffler shop and tell them you have a leak, then when they tell you where it is, tell them that you can fix it, and either throw the tech a tip, or just say thanks.
