Let me try to give you guys a run down. I just got done installing my HRC stage 2 kit. The problem that I'm having is that my fuel pumps won't turn on. Now, if I hardwire the pumps directly to the battery, I hear them come on and I get fuel pressure. I seperatly hardwired each pump(stock/Accel) and they both worked. But when I run them through the relay, nothing. Now I know you are gonna say bad relay, thats what I thought. So I bought a new relay from the dealer, and guess what, I still didn't work! I am now stumped. Here's a couple things I was thinking could be the problem:
1. The relay for the HRC pump was mounted next to my ECU, not back at the pump like the instructions say(it was easier). I figured it wouldn't matter since it's the same damn thing, just different location.
2. I'm starting the car on a dead battery. I'm trying to jump the car with jumper cables. My A/F gauge was reading under 12V with the jumper cables attached(when cranking, under 8V!)HRC pump gets it's power from the battery, could this be it?

The whole reason I'm confused here is because they turn on when I hardwire them. I'm so pissed and confused right now I want to stab my fuel pump relay. I've been waiting almost 9 months and this is whats holding me back from driving my car again. Someone give me some ideas, HRC is closed and I have no one to turn to. Anything will help, just point me in some directions please, thanks guys!

Double check your relay wiring, be sure its all perfect and hooked up properly. Since the relay turns on with the stock FP wiring, by having too low voltage, the stock pump may not be getting power, then that means no power to your relay, but thats just a guess. Sounds like the relay isn't wired up right to me. Be sure you are using the black/blue wire at the stock pump too...Thats whats going to turn on the hahn realy..Also, 8 volts isn't enough voltage to get the car going. If your using jumper cables, let the other car run with the cables hooked to your battery for at least 10 minutes to charge up your batt. The car wont run or even crank with less than 10 volts i'm sure..BE SURE to wire your Hahn relay AT THE TANK! Run a positive wire from the batter to the hahn relay by the tank, the stock pump wiring insn't large enough to drive those pumps, only the stock one. this could be your problem too. If your using 2 aftermarket pumps, use the black/blue wire at the stock pump sending unit under the back seat to turn on the relay, and the wire coming from the battery will be the power feed to turn on both pumps. Use at least a 12-10 guage wire coming from the battery to the back seat area for the pump wireing

Thanks man, I have a strange feeling it has something to do with my battery. I'll check all that stuff tomorrow morning, but first I'm getting a battery. Mine sat for 9 months and wouldn't even take a charge. We just threw it in there and connected some jumper cables to it to see if it would turn over. We finished up early and I hadn't had time to get a new battery. Looks like it's time emoji Thanks again man for all the help, you're gettin' some more brownie points emoji hahah

k, ive had my elay in the same place yours is at, since novemeber.

if the car wont turn over w/ a new battery, try to start the car w/ just the stock pump. the car should still turn over w/ just the stock pump hooked up, even w/ the inline pump installed and off. if it starts, you know the problem is with the inline or the hahn relay. if it doesnt start, problem is with something stock-wise
