I'm thinking about getting one, I like the idea of being able to monitor fuel pressure all the time.
But I'm curious to see what you guys that have them think of them. Are you happy with them? Basically I'm asking if they're benifical? Because $180 is a lot of money for a gauge that doesn't really help.

I have one. I like it.
it's interesting to see the corrolation between boost/EGT's/fuel pressure when you stomp on it.

I have the autometer ultra light. I believe dino has the same one. Maybe a different face, but it's teh electric FP from autometer nonetheless.
Mine reads extremely quickly. When you punch it, it jumps. As for what good it does...$180 is pricy and it's not something that you'll pay attention to every day, but if you have a problem that has to do w/ your fuel pressure, it's a lot easier to diagnose if you have this.

i have some info for you , if you can find a used 4309 90 degree sweep electric fuel pressure gauge, all you need is the gauge and the sender, you can send it back to autometer, because they are on recall and they will send you a new full sweep gauge which is the 180 dollar one. so you may not have to spend 180 bucks to get the gauge just find a used 4309 or similar fuel pressure gauge. check autometer's site for more info on which models are recalled. lates james

yea, i have the autometer one, and got the recall notice in the mail. but the notice in the mail said to just send the sender in, as it is known to leak. it also didnt say anything about sending out the more expensive unit. it said it would send out a replacement as soon as they had new units avialable

i called autometer asked them what to do, they said send the sender and gauge and they will replace it with the new one. they informed me that they have no plans to redesign the sender or find a replacement for it. I sent in my 4309, and they sent me a brand new full sweep unit as a replacement. so i know for a fact that this is what they are doing. lates james
