hey guys well finally with all of this things that you guys have been putting i am going with fmu , corbin you said to go with sfmu but that is too expensive i got enought for fmu not i need help on finding out wich will be the best for me where can i learn wich of the fmu to get does it depend on the amount of boost i am boosting or the amount of cfm, does that determin with fmu i need to get or what

If you want to go cheap for now...you're probably best starting with 5 psi boost, 30 lb injectors, Walbro 255 HP, and FMU. You'll need an EGT at least. I say 5 psi boost because its a big turbo and I don't know much about it. I say 30 lb domestic injectors because they are the biggest you can use with a regular FMU and no S-AFC. 30 lb injectors are 315 cc/min. You can get a set of 8 for a mustang for $250. I'm sure someone would split them with you. Walbro 255 HP is cheap and will work fine at fuel pressures under 100 psi. With the bigger injectors, it should be no problem keeping the fuel pressure low. FMU is a good, cheap alternative. Since you don't quite know what ratio to use, you should buy the recalibration kit: P/N 6Z270-010, Includes 4:1, 6:1, 8:1, 10:1, and 12:1. Start with a 12:1 and work your way down. Watch your EGT's and see how the car drives to decide if the disk is right. You should know that the Star kits use a T3/T4 turbo, walbro, and 12:1 FMU with stock 235 cc/min injectors. That should give you a start at least. When you decide to raise the boost, you will need to do alot more research and testing as the same components may not be suitable. I've just given you my best guess for building a quick fuel system...just be careful.

If you want to find injectors for real cheap go look in the clasified adds at www.stangnet.com. I found a guy that had broke one of his and sold me the rest for $60.

If you want to go with larger injectors you will need to adjustable S-FMU. The FMU is installed just down stream of the stock fuel pressure regulator. It does not control fuel pressure until the engine manifold pressure comes under boost. In other words you can't control the base fuel pressure with the FMU. You will need the S-FMU or an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to turn the base fuel pressure down on larger injectors. This applies for, up to, 315cc injectors without a S-AFC. You can go larger with a S-AFC. Of course you may just go with a stand alone fuel management system like the Accell DFI. If that is the case then you won't need a FMU or S-FMU at all.

ohhh man what is that accell stuff i just bought the sfmu it will be here tomorrow so i don't know well hopefully i can get injectors and S-afc later in future hey can i hook up a FP gauge to the S-FMU ????

so please please please sloooooow your roll, and do what i did, read every god damn post in the archives, and then ask questions. i think thats a good way to come up on some major respect very quick-like around here. i think if everyone took the time and patience to read through all of that stuff like i did, we would have an even more powerful and amazing 2gnt community here.
and i went back and checked, and someone else said the same thing right after me. and then in this thread, look at the guy right above me. if your not even going to take the time to do your fair share of reading then dont even waste our time. if we all just felt like just excercising our fingers we surely wouldnt do it with a god damn keyboard. good luck.
