ok guy's my HG is gone. dealer wants $688 to fix it thats not going to happen. How much should i expect to pay at a shop for just the HG if thats the route I decide to take. I don't really have the $ to do the whole rebuild now but I still might. So if I don't rebuild how much should I pay for the Hg?

668 isnt that bad, my dealer wanted 1200, but if you are the origional owner and have under 80000 miles call the dailmer chrysler customer service number and have them open a claim on it, they will usually pay everything but like 200 bucks.

The number is 1-800-992-1997
cant hurt to try

for 200 or less the only way to do it is do it yourself
parts alone will be close if not more than 200, like I said the 668 you got was a pretty good price.

Get an engine lift and Me, Dino, or Mark B, can guide you step by step. about 50 for head gasket I think, and couple more bucks for some sealant. Very time consuming though. Just be ready to spend a whole weekend if you're inexperienced.

dude if you have aol or aim my sn is NoLMTSod12 and emai addy is @aol.com. I only knew underdrive pulley, exhuast and cold air intake a year ago. That was as far as my knowledge takes me. Now, I've just finished rebuilding my engine....just need to find out where the coolant is leaking from.

what would you say to them when you call them up? And would they still do it with the turbo kit on?

well it depends how many miles you have. Basicly they only do it to keep their name good so if you have like 50 or 60k on it you may be able to get them to do it. But you have to take everything off, EVERYTHING.
